So long are the hours spent contemplating maxi or mini; summer is the season for the indecisive skirt. Mullets are no longer exclusive to NASCAR events and 80's rockers. They have been gracing runways since spring 2011 and are now making their way into the closets of women astraddle across America. The high-low skirt is essentially the best of both worlds. Still retaining the flowy etherial aspect of the maxi and baring just enough leg in the front for kick-boxing or any other activity previously hindered by a superfluous fabric, the mullet skirt is perfect for all summer activities. (i.e. galavanting through downtown Northport and leaving plenty of room for "street-cred" worthy knee scrapage.) Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the beautiful Sarah Thigpen in her interpretation of the modern mullet complete with distressed denim, top-not, and platforms.
